Edmonton—Dentons is pleased to announce that Tom Gusa has joined the Firm as a partner in our Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy group.
Based in Edmonton, Tom is a financial services and insolvency lawyer whose practice consists of personal and corporate insolvency, secured and unsecured debt collection, and foreclosures. He advises on all matters relating to corporate debt restructuring, receiverships, CCAA proceedings and security enforcement. He has assisted corporate and commercial clients with a variety of banking issues and business disputes.
Tom has been a Sessional Professor at the University of Alberta, Faculty of Law, teaching judgment enforcement, and has appeared in numerous contexts as a guest lecturer on topics relating to bankruptcy and insolvency law.

Tom completed his Bachelor of Commerce with honours at the University of Alberta in 2007, focusing his studies in business law and economics. Following that, he earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Windsor in 2010 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2011.
