Dubai—Dentons advised DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) on the operator selection and hotel management agreements for a five-star hotel to be situated in DMCC’s landmark Uptown Dubai project.

SO/ Uptown Dubai, set to open to guests by late 2020, will feature 188 rooms in addition to 215 branded residences. It is the first So destination to be announced in the Middle East, operated by Accorhotels.

DMCC’s world-class Uptown Dubai district, within walking distance of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, is feted to become the new ‘Hotspot’ of Dubai offering a 24/7 live, work, thrive, experience for residents and businesses. Internationally renowned architects Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill designed the two super-tall towers that will anchor the 10 million sq/ft development.
