Dentons has once again ranked among the top 10 law firms in the Acritas Global Elite Brand Index.

This year and last year Dentons ranked 10th, while the year before we held the 11th spot in the Acritas index. The previous year Dentons was 14th.

"This ranking highlights our steady progress from largest to leading firm, and is a strong endorsement from an objective third-party, based on testimony of clients or potential clients, who are rewarding our quality and service," said Dentons Global Chairman Joe Andrew.

The Acritas ranking is based on our scores in four categories: top of mind awareness, favorability, consideration for multi-jurisdictional litigation and consideration for multi-jurisdictional deals.

The ranking was tallied from 1,600 respondents who have senior responsibility for buying legal services in large organizations across the world. Telephone interviews conducted between August 2017 and July 2018 were used in the calculation of the 2018 Index.

In addition, Dentons remains the youngest law firm in the Global Elite Top 10, and we have leapt ahead of competitors who have been in the legal marketplace for decades.

“Of the four categories, Dentons scored the highest in the category of favorability--the firms clients feel most favorable towards--which is especially significant to us given our client-centric focus,” said Dentons Global CEO Elliott Portnoy.
