London—Belgrade Airport Concession has been awarded the European Airports Deal of the Year 2018 at the IJGlobal’ annual awards ceremony becoming the first Serbian project to have ever been awarded this respected industry award.

Dentons advised VINCI Airports on the transaction, which completed earlier this year, alongside Andric Law Office and Vasiljevic – Bogdanovic Law Office in Serbia who advised VINCI on local law aspects. Partners Ian McGrath, Rob Irving and Jean-Marc Allix co-led Dentons’ cross-border team, supported by associate Kamran Pirani.

This transaction is considered to be the largest PPP transaction ever carried out in Serbia.
