London—At Avis Budget Group's Annual Panel Conference in New Jersey on 4 and 5 June, Dentons was awarded the Group's Panel Firm of the Year 2019. Avis Budget Group's Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer Michael K. Tucker presented the award, recognising Dentons for its pre-eminent global service across multiple legal disciplines in 2019.

Avis Budget Group, one of the largest car rental agencies in the world, operates from over 5,000 locations in 165 countries worldwide. The Avis Budget legal team are leaders in their field having been awarded ACC Value Champion recognition for their Legal Transformation Programme. Dentons was appointed to its inaugural legal panel in 2016. The firm now supports the Group across the US, Canada, Europe, the UK and Australia, having had the appointment extended to cover the latter region earlier this year.
