Indianapolis—Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLP is pleased to welcome seven Associates to the Firm this year. Hannah Bennett, Joel Benson, Katie Dickey, Michael Hoffman, and Elizabeth Traylor joined the Indianapolis office. In Kentucky Elizabeth Lampert and Sarah Laren joined the Lexington office, while Candise Caylao and Travis Wilson joined the Louisville office. Indianapolis

Hannah Bennett is an attorney in the Firm's Economic Development Department where she concentrates her practice on real estate transactions. Prior to joining BGD, Hannah served as Claims Counsel and Associate Vice President with Fidelity National Title Group in Omaha, Nebraska where she managed owner and lender title claims including negotiating settlements, procuring easements and overseeing litigation. While in law school, Hannah worked with Stoll Kennon Ogden and Lexmark International, Inc. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Joel Benson joins the Business Services Department in Indianapolis where he focuses his practice on business transactions and regulatory compliance. Joel has experience advising clients on general business matters, including contract negotiation and drafting, strategic planning, entity formation, corporate governance, shareholder rights, and financial analysis. Prior to first joining the firm as a Summer Associate, Joel gained in-house experience as a law clerk for a large, primary and specialty physician group. Joel graduated summa cum laude with his J.D/M.H.A. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health.

Katie Dickey is an attorney with the Firm’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining the Firm as an Associate, Katie spent two years as a Summer Associate with BGD. She earned her J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Katie is active with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Indiana as a mentor and a volunteer with Joni and Friends. Before attending law school, she spent three years with Teach for America in Phoenix, Arizona.

Michael Hoffmann is a member of the Firm’s Business Services Department. He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School after completing a Bachelor’s in Philosophy at Harvard College. While in law school, Michael interned with the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Morgan County Circuit Court, and participated in BGD’s Summer Associate Program.

Elizabeth Traylor is a member of the firm's Litigation Department. Prior to joining BGD, Elizabeth was an associate with Smith Amundsen in their Indianapolis office. She also served as an associate with Clendening Johnson & Bohrer and as a Judicial Extern with The Honorable Judge Sarah Evans Barker. Elizabeth honored as a “Rising Star” by the Indiana Lawyer in 2018.

Lexington

Elizabeth Lampert is an attorney in the Firm's Economic Development Department. While in law school, Elizabeth served as the Administrative Editor of the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law. Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics and Political Science from the University of Kentucky.

Sarah Laren is an attorney in the Litigation Department and Labor & Employment Practice Group. Prior to joining BGD, Sarah was an associate with a national labor and employment defense firm. She has advised clients on a variety of labor and employment issues, including leave and accommodation processes, compliance with wage and hour laws, and arbitration agreements. She has also represented clients in administrative proceedings before the EEOC, OSHA, and Kentucky Commission on Human Rights and defended them in state and federal courts throughout the Commonwealth.

Louisville

Candise Caylao joins the Business Services as an attorney after spending two years as a Summer Associate with the Firm. She earned her J.D. from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, graduating magna cum laude in 2019. During her time at Brandeis she was a Student Bar Association ABA Representative, on the Law Review, on the Journal of Law and Education, an Academic Fellow and a Student Instructor for the Central High Partnership. Candise also interned with Magistrate Judge Colin Lindsay, the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy Education Branch, as well as the Legal Aid Society and completed an externship with Kentucky Refugee Ministries.

Travis Wilson is an attorney in the Estate Planning Department. He assists clients in developing estate and disability plans as well as the administration of estates and trusts, and in matters related to clients’ small business needs. Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Travis spent two summers with BGD as a Summer Associate. He earned his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was a member of the St. Thomas More Society. While in law school, Travis worked for a year at the Notre Dame Tax Clinic where he represented low-income individuals involved in federal and state tax controversies.
