Global law firm Dentons has been awarded the prestigious JUVE Award for “Competition Law Firm of the Year” in Germany. 

In presenting the award, JUVE particularly emphasized the team’s strong development in recent years: “With skillfully chosen lateral hires and young homegrown talents, Dentons formed a team that impresses clients. […] Jörg Karenfort, the acknowledged head of the practice, cleverly uses the strength of the firm in regulated industries such as energy, health, mobility and payment. He thus focuses the practice on the issues of the future.”

The JUVE Awards rank among the most important awards in the German legal market. The nominations are based on extensive research, including more than 1000 conversations and written interviews with lawyers, clients, judges and other actors in the legal market. The evaluation criteria include client orientation, dynamic growth and development, strategic orientation and future potential. Five nominations are made in each of the 18 categories, including 15 firm awards and three in-house categories.
