Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons, with a team led by Oliver Dreher, has again advised the German Federal Finance Agency (Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH) on the successful placement of a syndicated green federal bond. The total issuance volume was €4.5 billion, the federal bond has a 30-year term and provides for an interest rate of 1.80 percent.
The placement with national and international investors was carried out by a syndicate of banks led by Barclays, BNP, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe, J.P. Morgan and Nomura.
Oliver Dreher and his team have previously advised the German Federal Finance Agency on numerous capital market transactions, including the syndicated issues of various conventional and green federal bonds, most recently also on the issue of a syndicated green federal bond with an issuance volume of €5.25 billion.
