Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, announced today that litigator Zack Brandwein has joined the Portland, Maine, office as Of Counsel. Zack focuses his practice on complex litigation in state and federal courts, both in Maine and around the country.

Zack advises clients on products liability and mass torts, with a focus on environmental litigation. He also represents companies, higher education institutions and individuals in cases ranging from contract disputes to class action defense. In addition, Zack represents parties in property tax abatement proceedings and has litigated several of the largest property tax disputes in Maine.

“Zack is a great addition to our expanding team in Portland. He works closely with clients to develop effective litigation strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes. Zack is the second litigator to join the Portland office in 2024. Partner Chad Higgins joined in January.

The Portland office, officially launched in September 2022, has grown by strategically adding the talent clients seek to support their multijurisdictional needs.
