As part of the Government's regulatory changes to open international trade, the Secretariat of Industry and Commerce, through Resolution No. 4/2025, established new provisions regarding the display of prices for goods and services, incorporating the possibility of displaying prices in foreign currency.

In this regard, businesses offering goods or services to end consumers may display prices in Argentine pesos, the legal tender in the Argentine Republic, and additionally in US dollars or other foreign currencies.

Furthermore, the regulation states that the displayed price must include the total and final amount that the consumer must pay, covering all applicable taxes. Additionally, the net amount excluding the Value Added Tax (VAT) and other national indirect taxes must be provided in smaller print, accompanied by the phrase "PRICE WITHOUT NATIONAL TAXES."

Price information must be clear, visible, and legible, presented in physical and/or digital format, and consumers must have access to this information before completing a purchase.

Non-compliance with Resolution No. 4/2025 will be sanctioned in accordance with Decree No. 274/2019 and Law No. 24.240. The omission of the tax breakdown will be sanctioned under Law No. 11.683.
