Matthew is a Senior Associate in Dentons' Tier-1 ranked Technology and Commercial practice, based in the Glasgow office.

Matthew specialises in complex technology and business process outsourcing matters, with a focus on advising clients within the financial services, fintech, payments and retail sectors, with extensive experience advising regulated clients on compliance with the financial services outsourcing guidelines and digital operational resilience requirements.

In addition, Matthew advises clients on broader commercial matters, ranging from the drafting and negotiation of detailed services agreements to the provision of detailed data protection and telecoms advice, with a particular interest in innovative and emerging technology.  He authors the UK section of Dentons' "Drone laws around the world" and "Global Guide to Autonomous Vehicles", and has appeared on industry panels as an expert on UK autonomous vehicle laws (Link to webinar).

Matthew has completed a number of successful client secondments with financial institutions, including supporting a global bank with their financial services outsourcing regulatory compliance project, and within the commercial services department of a national bank.

He is recognised by Legal 500 as a key lawyer in Dentons' highly ranked FinTech practice.
