On 1 June 2015, Dentons Baku office welcomed more than 35 guests to its annual breakfast briefing seminar on Azerbaijan's recent legal and tax developments to mark the annual Caspian Oil & Gas week. The event was held at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Baku. Following a networking breakfast, the seminar opened with welcome remarks by Baku Managing Partner James Hogan, followed by presentations on Migration, Labor and Tax Legislation; Associate Ulvia Zeynalova on Banking and Finance and Securities Laws.

Attendees included several ambassadors and officials from France, Greece, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, Saudi Arabia and Israel, as well as representatives from BP, Total, Nobel Oil, Chartis and Hill International.

The presentations were followed by questions from the floor and the launch of the newly-updated 2015 edition of the Dentons business guide: “Succeeding in Azerbaijan.”
