On 29 August 2016, Dentons Warsaw hosted a meeting of experts on the implementation of waste-to-energy projects in the PPP formula.

The meeting was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), Centrum PPP and Dentons. The meeting was organized in response to the UNECE launching a project team to develop new standards for the PPP formula to be applied in waste-to-energy projects.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Chen Xiaoping, CEO at China Everbright International, who will head the team. Moreover, in the meeting were present Arkadiusz Krasnodębski, Managing Partner of Dentons Warsaw, Ewa Rutkowska-Subocz, Partner, and Bartosz Mysiorski, PPP Development Manager at Dentons, as well as representatives from the Infrastructure Ministry, Polish Development Fund (Polski Fundusz Rozwoju), companies advising on the implementation of PPP projects and, remotely, 25 PPP experts worldwide.

The meeting was intended to define and analyze key projects implemented in recent years, select the leading, international experts to assist the team’s efforts and define the team’s future actions and priorities.
