Dentons was honored with 127 individual and 37 practice rankings in the most recent edition of Legal 500 US, an annual legal directory, which ranks lawyers and law firms based on in-depth research and interviews.

In this year's edition of the US-focused publication, Dentons lawyers and professionals were recommended in 37 distinct areas, representing more than a 50 percent increase over last year and more than doubling the Firm's practice area recognition in 2014. Dentons has been recognized for 15 new practices compared with last year, and another nine practices advanced in the rankings. The Firm was ranked nationally in Tier 1 for two practice areas: Healthcare: health insurers, and Insurance: advice to insurers.

In total, the Firm received 127 individual rankings, including three "Leading Lawyers" ranked in their practice areas. Overall, Dentons increased its list of Legal 500 rankings by more than 65 percent over last year. The Firm's individual rankings are nearly triple the result from 2014.

Commenters praised Dentons lawyers, calling them "outstanding," "easy-to-work-with," "very responsive" and "efficient and effective." Others described Dentons lawyers as "knowledgeable, productive and always available," while noting the Firm's "outstanding level of service" to clients.

• 127 individual lawyer recognitions, including three lawyers ranked at the top of their field
