CHICAGO – Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that the American Council on Germany (ACG) has named Corporate partner Elke Rehbock to its board of directors. Rehbock, resident in the Firm’s Chicago office, co-chairs Dentons’ Manufacturing sector and focuses on representing corporate and financial institution clients worldwide in a variety of corporate, finance and commercial matters.

As an independent, nonpartisan nonprofit, the ACG is the leading US-based forum for strengthening German-American relations. The ACG works across generations to gain a better understanding of current trends in transatlantic relations, to exchange ideas and opinions, and to forge bonds with counterparts. The ACG's corporate membership program provides business leaders in the German-American community with discussions and conferences on bilateral issues, as well as a forum where American and German business leaders can network and discuss pressing economic, political and social issues of mutual concern.

Fluent in German and French, Rehbock is counsel of trust for the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chicago as well as a highly regarded counsel for a number of European family offices. Rehbock directs the ACG’s Eric M. Warburg Chapter in Chicago and is a 2017 ACG Young Leader. She also serves on the Executive Board of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
