Dentons, the world’s largest global law firm, will complete the separation of its Russian practice effective January 1, 2023. The Russian offices will become an independent law firm, Nextons. Operating under the new Nextons name and brand, the team of 130 lawyers will continue to provide legal services from its offices in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

As of January 1, 2023, the Russian offices will no longer be part of Dentons. However, Nextons will be Dentons’ preferred law firm in Russia, and the two firms will collaborate on matters for international clients, where permitted to do so by sanctions and Dentons policies.
