Clinton Vince, chair of Dentons’ US Energy practice and co-chair of the Firm’s global Energy sector for the US Region, was a featured speaker at this year’s Energy Efficiency Global Forum in Washington, DC, hosted by the Energy Efficiency Global Alliance. Vince, a member of the alliance’s board and executive committee, was joined by speakers from varying sectors, disciplines and regions of the world, who covered a range of topics on energy efficiency, from technology trends to energy security to achieving a just energy transition.

Vince guided a fireside chat with Pulitzer Prize-winner Daniel Yergin, one of the most highly respected authorities on energy, international politics and economics and author of The New Map: Energy, Climate, and the Clash of Nations, on the intersection of geopolitics and energy efficiency at a time when Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has roiled the markets in a way the world has not seen since the EE Global Alliance’s founding. In his conversation with Yergin, Vince probed the implications for energy efficiency of rising energy costs, shifting power dynamics between exporters and importers, and energy security challenges, among other issues.
