Global law firm Dentons has expanded its Corporate and M&A practice in Warsaw with the arrival of partner Maciej Skoczyński. The Firm has also strengthened its Litigation and Arbitration and Restructuring, Insolvency and Bankruptcy practices, with the recruitment of managing counsel Marek Neumann.
Maciej Skoczyński has 15 years of transactional experience, with a particular focus on the infrastructure sector, including roads, telecommunications, oil and gas, and renewable energy. He represents infrastructure and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in acquisitions and disposals of shares, mergers and joint ventures in Poland. He also advises clients on capital market transactions including IPOs and public M&A deals. His experience also includes projects in the IT, ecommerce and gaming sectors.

Marek Neumann specializes in dispute resolution and advisory for financial institutions. For more than 10 years he has represented clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings in commercial law, international investment law, banking, insurance, and insolvency law. He has advised banks in mass consumer litigation, cases involving the risk of lender liability, and restructuring-related disputes. He has also represented clients in the energy, FMCG and manufacturing sectors, including in disputes related to regulatory decisions.
