The members of Dentons Rattagan Arocena promoted Nahuel Alvarez-Wachter as new Partner of the Buenos Aires office, and Cecilia de Múgica and Fernando Neville as Counsel, both from the Firm's labor area.

Nahuel Alvarez-Wachter obtained his law degree cum laude from the Universidad de Buenos Aires in 2015, specializing in corporate law. He joined the Firm in 2016, focusing his professional practice in the areas of litigation, dispute resolution and insolvency. He also has wide experience on contractual and regulatory law, and on structuring international commercial transactions involving securities and collateral in Argentina. He has completed several postgraduate studies both in Argentina and abroad. After completing his academic and working experience in Europe, he rejoined the Firm as Counsel in 2023 in order to lead the litigation and dispute resolution team. With more than ten years of professional experience and a distinguished career at the Firm, he will continue to lead the litigation and dispute resolution team in his new role as Partner.

With regard to the promotion of two senior labor lawyers to Counsel, Juan M. Arocena, also co-founder and co-managing partner, emphasized the important message to the younger generations in the office: “We are constantly working to offer our best lawyers, at all times, a structure and a career path where each can grow and thrive”.

Cecilia de Múgica obtained her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2002, after which she continued her training both in Argentina and abroad. Cecilia specializes in employment and labor. Her academic experience includes, among others, the completion of a Master's Degree in Labor Law and International Labor Relations, a Postgraduate Degree in Benefits and Compensation and a Postgraduate Degree in Business Law. In 2012, she attended the Academy of American and International Law in Texas, USA. She joined the Firm in 2009 to be part of the labor team, which she has integrated with excellence during these years, acquiring experience in everything related to labor advice to clients of the widest spectrum. Until now she worked as a Senior Associate, and from now on she will practice as Counsel.

Fernando Neville, who joined the Firm in 2015 as an Associate and has been part of the Firm's labor team since then, will now be promoted to Counsel. Fernando obtained his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires in 2012. He has dedicated his career to this area of law, advising local and multinational corporate clients on a wide range of labor law and social security issues. Fernando has extensive experience in labor litigation. He also frequently participates in due diligence processes and provides advice on labor and employment issues in the context of M&A transactions. Throughout his career, he has acquired extensive experience in advising clients from a wide variety of sectors in all labor related matters.
