Dentons, the world’s largest law firm, announces today that partner Nick Pujji has been recognized by the Daily Journal as a 2020 Top 40 Under 40 honoree. Pujji is a member of Dentons’ Employment and Labor practice and is resident in the Firm’s Los Angeles office.

The California-based legal publication’s annual list recognizes the achievements of California lawyers under 40 across a range of practice areas. Pujji represents a wide array of clients in complex actions involving business, employment, discrimination, trade secrets, partnership dispute, and digital accessibility and class action litigation.

Pujji is also a member of Dentons' Venture Technology and Emerging Growth Companies practice, serving as outside general counsel to multiple foreign consulates, retailers, and numerous emerging growth and technology startup companies across the United States and internationally. In this role, Pujji advises founders, diplomats, executives and investors on a range of issues, including business structure, strategy, growth, fundraising, employment, personnel, partnerships, strategic transactions, immunities, corporate governance, and risk evaluation.

In addition to his practice, Pujji is a practicing Sikh and an active member of Dentons’ US Diversity and Inclusion Committee. During law school, he was a legal fellow at the US Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, in Washington, DC, where he worked under the DOJ’s special counsel for religious discrimination and voting rights issues. He is fluent in French and conversant in Punjabi.
