The National Law Journal recognized partner Doug Henkin as a General Litigation Trailblazer for 2023. This honor is given to a legal professional who has made significant advancements and changes in general litigation.

Henkin is a member of Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in the New York office where he focuses on securities and complex commercial litigation, complex cross-border litigation across the US, Canada and the UK, and technology and complex financial instrument disputes. Henkin uses his vast experience across different matters of litigation to develop cutting-edge strategies for clients. Among his accomplishments, Henkin served as counsel on behalf of the NYSE where he secured the disqualification of the plaintiffs' lead expert and achieved complete dismissal of the case for lack of Article III standing. The rare dismissal of this multi-trillion-dollar securities class action for lack of ability even to show Article III standing to sue was made possible by Henkin’s leadership and innovative thinking.
