Global law firm Dentons received the award for Most Innovative Law Firm in Knowledge and Data in the Europe Innovative Lawyer Awards 2023 organized by the Financial Times.  The award recognizes Dentons’ priority clients program, which is supported by innovative tool, Purple Sea, which utilizes a machine learning algorithm and numerous internal and external data sources to provide actionable client intelligence and help identify opportunities for collaboration and new business.

In addition, Dentons was ranked in the top seven most innovative law firms overall, and received commendations in several award categories:

• Government and Policy: Dentons received a standout rating for its collaboration with the UK’s Government Legal Department.
• Supporting refugees and migrants: Dentons, in collaboration Hogan Lovells, Linklaters, and Orrick were highly commended for their collaborative pro bono project supporting the Italian Coalition for Civil Liberties and Rights in order to help Afghan asylum seekers in Italy.
• Digital Solutions: Dentons was commended for the development of ExpeDDite, a tool which automates parts of the due diligence process in mergers and acquisitions transactions and facilitates cross-border collaboration.
• Adjacent Services: Dentons was commended for Exit+, a full-scope advisory offering delivered in collaboration with investment firm AB Bernstein, accountancy firm PKF O’Connor Davies, and M&A firm STS Capital Partners, to assist business owners who wish to sell or exit from their companies.
• Intrapreneur: Richard Singer, Chief Managing Officer for Dentons Europe, was highlighted as a leader, who has brought the spirit of innovation to the Firm and has helped drive Dentons’ growth across Continental Europe and Central Asia.
