Starting from July 1, 2021, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken" plans to launch an information system called the ‘Business Partners Register’. 

The law of January 2, 2021 introduced amendments, which lay the foundation for the functioning of this system, to the Entrepreneurial Code and the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On national registers of identification numbers", "On personal data and its protection", "On National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "On natural monopolies".

This Register will be integrated with state databases and will contain consolidated and up-to-date information about business entities, including registration data, information on tax arrears, insolvency procedures, enforcement procedures involving the entity, etc.

In addition, the Register will enable users to assess the credibility of a business partner according to three indicators:

• index of due diligence
• index of payment discipline
• index of financial stability

An authorization with electronic signature will be required in order to obtain information form the Register.
