Monica is a member of Dentons' Real Estate practice group. She focuses her practice on complex tax credit transactions.

Monica has represented lenders, developers, nonprofits, community development entities and tax credit investors in transactions involving various forms of debt, equity and public financing, including federal and state new market, historic and low-income housing tax credits. She also has experience in general purchase and sale transactions.

Additionally, Monica has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, developer’s counsel and disclosure counsel in public finance transactions in Missouri and Kansas. She has experience with transactions involving tax-increment financing, bonds, lease participation certificates and real property tax abatement.
