Rebecca Nokleby (She/Her/Hers) is an associate in Dentons’ Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation group in Edmonton and welcomes clients on a broad range of estate planning, estate administration and estate litigation matters.

Rebecca assists clients with estate planning by preparing wills, powers of attorney, personal directives, prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. She assists personal representatives with estate administration by preparing grant of probate or grant of administration applications and distributing estate assets to beneficiaries.

Rebecca has a particular interest in estate litigation and has experience assisting clients with contested wills, including those involving capacity, undue influence, or family maintenance and support claims, and with abuse under powers of attorney and personal directives. She also has experience preparing adult guardianship and trusteeship applications on behalf of adults in need of decision-making assistance, and has successfully appeared before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench on such applications. She is eager to continue to develop and utilize her legal research and writing skills to help clients successfully navigate contentious matters.

Rebecca first joined Dentons as a summer student in 2022 and returned as an articling student in 2023.
