Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons continues to strengthen its Corporate practice in Germany with two senior hires. At the start of the new year, Dr. Robert Weber will join the Frankfurt office as a partner to extend the Firm’s capabilities in stock corporation law. Counsel Claudia Otto recently joined to boost Dentons’ offering in the area of blockchain and digital technology.

Partner Robert Weber brings more than 20 years of experience in stock corporation law and related capital markets law. He advises listed companies on the execution of general shareholders’ meetings as well as corporate transactions such as transformations, squeeze-outs, acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures and restructurings. He supports board members, managing directors and supervisory board members on corporate governance, compliance and liability issues. Robert Weber is author of numerous publications on topics such as artificial intelligence and corporate governance. He joins from White & Case.

Counsel Claudia Otto advises on legal issues related to digital and blockchain technology, and represents clients in disputes arising from Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). She supports fintech and legaltech businesses with corporate law matters related to their digital presence. She is also experienced in applying technology in the delivery of legal services and is the founder and editor of the journal Recht innovativ (Ri), and the author of numerous articles on the interaction between technology, artificial intelligence, and the law.
