Dentons partners Sandra Hauser and Andrea "Andi" Mandell have been named to Crain's New York Business' third annual Notable Women in Law list. The publication says its 2020 list is "a celebration of women lawyers who have impacted New York City in major ways."

Hauser leads the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in the United States. She represents companies facing class actions and complex commercial litigation involving securities, consumer fraud and deceptive trade practices, financial services and other areas.  Part of the Insurance Litigation team, she is a one of 28 attorneys nationally (and only 1 of 6 women) to be named by Legal500 as a Leading Lawyer for Securities Litigation: Defense.

Hauser has received several awards for pro bono service. She is chair of the Board of Directors of the National Center for Law and Economic Justice, a legal policy center that works on behalf of low-income families and communities, and active in the New York Says Thank You Foundation and its Stars of Hope project, founded by her family.

Mandell is a partner in Dentons' Capital Markets and Tax practices where she focuses on tax aspects related to structured finance, securitization and fund formation. Her principal areas of experience include residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and structured finance. She has extensive experience advising tax exempt entities, REITs, hedge funds and private equity firms.

Mandell serves as the chair of the Tax Policy Committee of the Structured Finance Association and is also a frequent writer and public speaker on tax-related regulatory developments affecting structured finance. Mandell is the lead Dentons attorney for the pro bono representation of The Gary Sinise Foundation in its mission to honor the nation's defenders, veterans, and first responders.  She is a Board Member on the Friends of Firefighters Foundation helping to raise money to provide anonymous mental health services to active and retired first responders.  She also serves as co-chair of Dentons' New York WomenLEAD committee and has received Dentons' WomenLEAD Excellence Award in recognition of her mentorship and guidance of her female peers.
