As part of our Black History Month 2020 programme, Dentons' Black Professionals Network is hosting a keynote event with British-Nigerian historian, broadcaster and BAFTA award-winning presenter and filmmaker, David Olusoga OBE.

During the session, David will consider Black Lives Matter (BLM) from a historical perspective and discuss how we can learn from the past to convert the BLM message into lasting change. He will also share insights into his experiences growing up in the UK.

David is a familiar face to many through acclaimed history TV series such as Civilisations, Black and British: A Forgotten History and A House Through Time. In his books and television programmes, he seeks to make history inclusive, expansive and diverse.
