New York, NY—A cross-disciplinary Dentons team advised long-time client Amber Road in its recent US$110 million initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange. The team was led by New York and Short Hills Venture Technology partners Victor Boyajian and Ira Kotel.
 
Amber Road is a provider of global trade management software. Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated, served as sole book-running manager for the offering, and Pacific Crest Securities served as co-lead manager. Canaccord Genuity, Needham & Company and Raymond James & Associates served as co-managers. Backers included Cross Atlantic Capital Partners, Updata Partners, Goldman Sachs and NJTC Investment Fund.

The completion of Amber Road’s IPO benefited from the firm’s combined strength in the tech sector and the securities markets. In addition to Victor and Ira, the team included Corporate managing associate Marc Mandel, Venture Technology associate Chris Errico, Pensions, Benefits and Executive Compensation partner Michael Maryn, Tax partner John Harrington, managing associate Brian Lee,Venture Technology partner Jeff Baumel and Venture Technology partner David Papier.
