Melbourne—Dentons has advised the Wheatsheaf Group, a global investment fund, on a significant acquisition in the agricultural technology sector in Australia.

The Wheatsheaf Group, a leading global investor and developer of innovative food and AgTech businesses, has taken a strategic stake in AgriWebb, a leading Australian cloud-based farm management software company by investing in their latest funding round to assist in scaling the company.

AgriWebb is a developer of advanced farm and livestock management software that helps farmers manage their record keeping and increase productivity.

The deal also included AgriWebb acquiring from Wheatsheaf their leading UK livestock and dairy management software, FarmWizard.
