To help combat racial inequality in our community, Davis Brown Law Firm and intellectual property attorney Kent Herink are donating a total of $5,000 to Iowa public libraries where Davis Brown has offices: Ames, Des Moines, and West Des Moines.

Libraries play a crucial role in the mission toward racial and social justice. The donation will be split evenly and go toward the purchase of books or resources for children and adults that address racism and social justice. 

The donation was coordinated by the Davis Brown Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. They said: “This is just one small step in our greater mission to recognize our implicit biases, expand our understanding of what it is like to be perceived as an outsider in your own community, develop a common understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and engage in foundational learning about and implement strong DEI practices.”
