Balcıoğlu Selçuk Ardıyok Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK), the law firm that collaborates with Dentons in Turkey, advised the leading Turkish cyber security company Cyberwise and its shareholders Taxim Capital, Faruk Eczacıbaşı and Aret Kıllıoğlu on their acquisition of Innovera Bilişim Teknolojileri A.Ş. (Innovera).

Following the acquisition, Innovera becomes part of Cyberwise group of companies.

Innovera is a significant market player in the cyber security sector in Turkey providing integration and consultancy services to leading finance, telecom, private sector and public organizations in the fields of information security and business continuity to its customers in relation to over 30 leading security products and solution suppliers, and with more than 100 expert staff. Innovera’s customers range from companies in finance, telecommunications, e-commerce industries to governmental offices.

Partner Müfit Arapoğlu led the transaction with associate Fulya Görer and the project team included associates Bener Kadir Mızrak, Emir Gönen, Merve Çolak, Gözde Öztürk, Derin Aydın and Ege Alpaykut. The project team advised Taxim Capital throughout the transaction starting from the due diligence to successful closing. The project team was supported by partner Şahin Ardıyok, counsel Evren Sesli and associate Hazar Başar for the competition clearance of the transaction.
