Paris —Dentons Paris has advised on the implementation of a concession contract for the cable car project between Arve Valley and the Flaine resort, signed on 11 June 2021. The FUNIFLAINE project will link the Arve Valley, in Magland, France to the Flaine resort in less than 20 minutes. Based on the lift model, the teleporter will start from the lowest point and reach the highest point, using the fastest route. The cable car will be available for its first passengers in 2025.

The consortium composed of Compagnie des Alpes-Domaines Skiables, Autoroutes et Tunnel du Mont Blanc, Crédit Agricole des Savoie and POMA will be responsible for the design, construction, financing, operation, maintenance and upkeep of the FUNIFLAINE lift, as well as the three stations that it will serve: Magland-Bellegarde (downstream), Pierre Carrée (intermediate) and Flaine (upstream).

The financing for this project, which amounts to approximately €45 million, is provided by the Banque Postale and the Crédit Agricole des Savoie. The investment cost of the concession amounts to €80.9 million excluding tax.
