Dentons Paris advised Phoenix Tower International ("Phoenix") an exclusivity agreement with Outremer Telecom to acquire 203 mobile telephony towers and additional towers to be built over 10 years in the French West Indies, in a so-called build-to-suit program. Phoenix and Outremer Telecom have entered into a long-term partnership under which Outremer Telecom will occupy the sites for at least 20 years.

This transaction positions Phoenix as the leading market provider of this type of infrastructure, with over 437 towers, and extends its growing presence in Europe and the Caribbean.

The transaction remains subject to customary conditions precedent and is expected to close in the first quarter of 2022.

Phoenix Tower International is an American company specialising in the construction of infrastructure for wireless networks. It owns and operates nearly 14,000 towers, 986 kms of fibre optic cable and more than 80,000 other wireless infrastructure and related sites in 18 countries across Latin America, the Caribbean, the United States and Europe.
