Dentons’ Warsaw is not only the largest law firm in Poland, but it has also come top in this year’s Rzeczpospolita daily’s Ranking of Law Firms. Our lawyers came first in 11 categories, and we received team and individual recognition as "Leaders on the legal market".

Team awards went to the following practices this year:

• Energy and Natural Resources
• Real Estate
• Public procurement law
• Employment law
• Restructuring and insolvency

The individual leaders in each area were:

• Aldona Kowalczyk in the category "Public procurement law"
• Aleksandra Minkowicz-Flanek in the category "Labour law"
• Arkadiusz Krasnodębski in the category "Energy law"
• Ewa Rutkowska-Subocz in the category "Environmental Protection"
• Piotr Dulewicz recommended in the category "Private Equity".

We also won this year’s edition of Pro bono Law Firm Of the Year. This is an exceptional distinction for unpaid support of individuals and social organisations. It also applies to our assistance to the people of Ukraine and refugees from that country, affected by the ongoing war.

A special supplement to the Rzeczpospolita daily published an article entitled 'They don't forget why they became lawyers'. Among the many submitted projects that contributed to the award, the editors drew attention to the work of attorney Adam Odojewski, carried out with the Urszula Jaworska Foundation for the diagnosis of HCV infection in penitentiary institutions. At the same time, the legal assistance provided by the Dentons law firm to the Habitat for Humanity Foundation, which helps people in difficult housing situations, was considered an interesting project. The work on the project was carried out by attorney Magdalena Szwarc-Brożyna, partner in Dentons' Warsaw office, and attorney Magdalena Witka.
