Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons, with a team led by Oliver Dreher, has again advised the German Federal Finance Agency (Bundesrepublik Deutschland - Finanzagentur GmbH) on the successful placement of a syndicated federal bond. An existing federal bond was increased via the syndicate. The issuance volume was € 3 billion, thereby bringing total volume of the federal bond to € 22.5 billion. The federal bond has a 30-year term and carries an interest rate of 1.80%.
The placement with national and international investors was carried out by a syndicate of banks led by Deutsche Bank, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, NatWest Markets and Nomura.
Oliver Dreher and his team have already advised the Bundesrepublik Deutschland - Finanzagentur GmbH on numerous capital market transactions in the past, including the syndicated issues of various conventional and green German federal securities, most recently on the issue of a € 4.5 billion green German federal bond.
