Frankfurt—Global law firm Dentons, with a team led by Oliver Dreher, has again advised the German Finance Agency (Bundesrepublik Deutschland – Finanzagentur GmbH) on the successful syndication of a federal bond. An existing Federal Bond was increased via the syndicate by €4.5 billion, bringing its total volume to €12 billion. The federal bond has a 30-year term and carries an interest rate of 2.90%.

The placement with national and international investors was carried out by a syndicate of banks led by Barclays, Citi, Crédit Agricole CIB, DZ Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and J.P. Morgan.

Oliver Dreher and his team have advised the German Finance Agency on numerous capital market transactions in the past, including the syndicated issues of various conventional and green German federal securities (most recently on the syndicated placement of a federal bond with an issuance volume of €6 billion).
