Dorothy Lee Donaldson is Of Counsel in Dentons Sirote's Birmingham, AL office. She is a member of the Trusts, Estates, and Wealth Preservation practice group. Dorothy focuses her practice on advising clients regarding estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, and business succession planning. She is licensed in Alabama as well as North Carolina and Maryland. Dorothy has experience in drafting simple to complex estate planning documents, which include Wills, Revocable Trusts, Irrevocable Trusts, Generation-Skipping Transfer Tax Trusts, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Directive and Healthcare Powers of Attorney. In addition, Dorothy has experience in estate and trust administration, including the preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns, fiduciary income tax returns, post-mortem planning such as disclaimers and the preparation and filing of all necessary probate documents.
