The business-friendly community of Jasper, IN, has an excellent infrastructure to support a growing industrial base. According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Dubois County, of which Jasper is the county seat, consistently has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state—2.4 percent in August 2019, a month when the national unemployment rate stood at 3.7 percent.
