Vancouver—Dentons is honoured to receive the M&A Advisor Turnaround Award in the category of Mining Deal of the Year and Cross-Border Restructuring Deal of the Year (up to US$100 million). The Vancouver-based Dentons team that worked diligently on the mining and restructuring deal, comprising John Sandrelli, Jordan Schultz and Gary Sollis, was also recently awarded with the M&A Advisor Award in the category of Real Estate Deal of the Year.

The M&A Advisor Awards recognize excellence in deal making, restructuring and financing, and celebrate the contributions and achievements of leading law firms and professionals.

This award recognizes a collaborative effort across several practices at Dentons, including mining, restructuring, corporate, and mergers and acquisitions, in the purchase of Veris Gold USA Inc. assets by Whitebox Advisors LLC (WBOX 2014-1 Ltd.).
