Glasgow—Dentons has advised engineering firm Doosan Babcock on securing its continued occupation at Canmoor's Westway Park in Renfrew for a further 15 years, in what is being billed as the largest industrial property deal in Scotland this year.

Doosan Babcock has signed new leases at Westway Park which includes office, industrial and manufacturing space. Doosan Babcock has operated on the site since 1895 where it pioneered boiler system technology when it was known as Babcock & Wilcox.

Gordon Aitken, partner in Dentons' Glasgow Real Estate team who led on the deal, said, "We are pleased to have advised on another market-leading real estate transaction in Scotland, continuing our relationship with Doosan Babcock in helping the firm to secure its long term future in Westway Park."
