Dentons' Italian partners Giangiacomo Olivi and Federico Fusco were recognized for their excellence at the Legalcommunity IP&TMT Awards 2023. This awards ceremony, hosted by Legalcommunity, one of Italy's most important online legal magazines, was held in Milan on March 23, 2023. The ceremony was an opportunity to celebrate legal market excellence in the areas of intellectual property protection, telecommunications, and media.

Giangiacomo Olivi was named "Lawyer of the year - Digital tech" and "Lawyer of the year - Information technology". Upon granting the awards, the jury made the following statements:

"The lawyer handles complex cases for Italian and international clients and is particularly present in many innovative and high-tech activities. He has technical expertise widely recognized by the market, both by clients and competitors;"

and

"The lawyer coordinates and leads the TMT team in Italy. He is unanimously considered an undisputed leader in IT/Technology and digital transformation. Among his main initiatives is the attempt to shape new legislation based on an ethical approach to the artificial intelligence of the future."

Federico Fusco was awarded "Lawyer of the year - Trademarks".
