Penny is a member of Dentons' Agency & Trust sector and the Capital Markets practice. Her practice encompasses agency & trust, structured finance, general corporate and securities law. Penny represents major financial institutions in their roles as trustees, securities administrators, master servicers, collateral administrators, collateral agents, calculation agents, escrow agents, paying agents and backup servicers in matters involving CLO transactions, whole business transactions, esoteric financings, asset and mortgage-backed securitizations, project financings and corporate debt issuances. She has represented investment banks, mortgage companies and institutional investors in all aspects of transactions involving the origination, purchase, sale, securitization and servicing of residential and commercial real estate loans. Her experience also includes representing lenders in connection with solar and other energy project finance transactions, traditional term and revolving credit loan transactions and leveraged leasing transactions.
Prior to joining Dentons, Penny was EVP and General Counsel at NuBridge Commercial Lending. In that role, she oversaw all aspects of the company including licensing and compliance, loan origination, negotiation of, and compliance with, financing facilities, corporate housekeeping responsibilities, general contract review, litigation and human resources.
