Dentons named Law Firm of the Year in CEE and Russia

Dentons was named Law Firm of the Year in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and Russia at The American Lawyer Transatlantic Legal Awards. The awards ceremony took place in London on 7 June 2016.

The Transatlantic Legal Awards recognize the best cross-border legal work conducted between Europe and the US. The awards are organized annually by The American Lawyer, a leading US legal news publication.

“This award confirms Dentons’ status as a leading law firm in CEE and Russia,” said Tomasz Dąbrowski, Chief Executive Officer of Dentons Europe, “Over the last year, Dentons has advised on many of the largest and most complex transactions and disputes in the region, and this award is a testament to the quality of the cross-border legal advice we offer to our clients.”

Evan Lazar, Chairman of the Board of Dentons Europe, added: “This award also recognizes Dentons’ significant investment into top talent in Central and Eastern Europe. Over the last year and a half, we enhanced our already strong Budapest with 50 professionals who joined from a competitor, and at the same time strengthened our capabilities in Moscow, Warsaw and Bratislava with the recruitment of seven additional lateral partners.”
