Dentons’ Real Estate team in Warsaw has advised CPI Property Group (CPI), the largest commercial property owner in the Czech Republic, Berlin and the CEE region, on a deal involving the purchase of shares in WFC Investments sp. z o.o., which owns the Warsaw Financial Center (WFC) office building, from a joint venture of Allianz Real Estate and Tristan Capital Partners group members.

The WFC is the third office property purchased by CPI in Q4 2019. In November, CPI purchased two A class office buildings – Equator IV and Eurocentrum.

The WFC is an LEED Gold certified A+ class office building with a GLA of approximately 50,000 sq. m. Located on the corner of Emilii Plater and Świętokrzyska streets in downtown Warsaw, it used to be one of the most modern Central European sky rises in 1990s. WFC’s building design was inspired by Chicago’s 333 Wacker Drive building.

The transaction was brought to completion by partner Monika Sitowicz and counsel Łukasz Zwiercan who enlisted support from Karolina Ostrowska (associate) and Aleksandry Łukasik (associate).
