London—Dentons has advised Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group on the purchase of Robin Retail Park in Wigan from Nuveen's retail fund for c. £42 million.

Mike Ashley's Sports Direct is one of the main tenants at the park alongside Next, TK Maxx, Matalan, Wickes, Pets at Home, KFC, and Subway.

Andrew Henderson, a partner in Dentons' UK Real Estate team who led on the transaction, said 'We are delighted to have advised Frasers Group on its latest investment in bricks and mortar retail.  The transaction was completed just nine working days after instruction, which shows the pace at which major acquisitions can be closed with all parties committed to the timetable. '
