In discussing the group's success, Kudenholdt and Klingenberg emphasized the importance of Dentons' culture and team bonds, noting that many of the group's attorneys have been with the firm for their entire careers. ‘Everyone in the group really views themselves as a part of the team and having their own unique contributions, but very much as part of something that is bigger and better than they could ever be on their own and really appreciate that opportunity,’ said Kudenholdt. During the pandemic when work went remote, Klingenberg said the group made an effort to maintain its ‘family culture’ by holding outdoor events during the summer, including a backyard barbeque at his house with vaccinated workers.”

Klingenberg told Law360 that the practice group is going into 2022 ‘full throttle,’ with a slew of deals already lined up from the end of 2021. ‘What I expect to see more and more of is this fintech space, the growth of various types of products that are based on financial technology, internet access that are aimed at consumers and businesses, those products growing and developing and leaving towards securitization,’ he said.”
