In many organisations there is a division of responsibilities between the members of the management board – most often financial and tax matters are handled by one of them. Does this mean that the other board members (e.g. those responsible for production or investment) are exempt from liability for tax errors or omissions? What are the responsibilities of the board members, regardless of the internal division of responsibilities? Are there ways to limit the risk of personal liability of the board members?

During the webinar, experts from the Tax Litigation practice of Dentons' Tax team will answer the above questions – both in the context of penal fiscal liability for taxes and in the context of joint and several liability (with personal assets) for the public arrears of the company in the event of its insolvency.

The online meeting will discuss the following issues:
