New York, NY—Dentons earned first prize in two major categories of The American Lawyer's 2014 Global Legal Awards, which recognize and honor the best cross-border legal work across a wide range of practice areas and disciplines. The Firm won the Global M&A Deal of the Year: Latin America/Peru and Global Pro Bono Deal of the Year (Environmental) awards, acknowledging the quality and strength of the Firm's global platform, as well as its commitment to global social responsibility.

Qualifying matters are organized into four major categories: M&A, disputes, finance and citizenship. The Firm faced heavy competition, with hundreds of matter nominations by major law firms around the world competing for selection.
