Jefferson T. Jarvis is an attorney serving as an associate at Dentons Durham Jones Pinegar’s Lehi Office. With a focus on commercial litigation, Jefferson brings legal expertise and dedication to every case he handles. Jefferson has experience in litigating contracts, property disputes, tort claims, and domestic issues.
Jefferson graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University’s J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2023, where he distinguished himself as a top scholar. His academic excellence earned him induction into the Order of the Coif, recognizing his outstanding achievements in the study of law.
During his time at law school, Jefferson served as an associate editor for the Brigham Young University Law Review, where he sharpened his legal research and writing skills. Additionally, he gained invaluable practical experience as an extern to Chief Justice Matthew B. Durrant at the Utah Supreme Court, providing him with insight into the workings of the judicial system.
Prior to law school, Jefferson excelled as a student-athlete at Brigham Young University, where he competed on the track team and served as team captain. This experience instilled in him the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, qualities that continue to inform his approach to legal practice.
Outside of his legal practice, Jefferson is deeply committed to giving back to the community. He volunteers his time and expertise to various pro bono initiatives, including the Timpanogos Legal Center striving to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
In his free time, Jefferson enjoys staying active through weightlifting, CrossFit, and fishing.
